What It Costs to Work With Us

We believe clarity builds trust. That’s why we’re upfront about how we’re compensated—and what you can expect—before we ever start working together. Our Initial Consultations are always Complimentary.

Phase 1 – The “Dating Phase”

We think of our initial engagement like a dating phase: it’s a chance for both of us to get to know each other, see if we’re a good fit, and make sure there’s alignment before entering a long-term relationship.

During this phase, we typically charge a financial planning fee of $2,400, split into two payments:

$1,200 at the start

$1,200 at plan delivery

This reflects the time and care we invest up front—analyzing your full financial picture, creating thoughtful recommendations, and giving you clarity and direction. In some cases, this fee may vary depending on complexity, but we’ll always confirm everything in writing before we begin.

This process gives clients immediate value while letting them experience our philosophy and approach before committing to a longer-term advisory relationship.

Phase 2 – Ongoing Advisory Relationship

For clients who move forward with full investment management, we charge a blended, tiered annual advisory fee based on assets under management (AUM).

This includes:

– Ongoing portfolio oversight
– Comprehensive financial planning
– Support through all stages of life and market conditions

Fees are billed quarterly and scale with the client’s portfolio value—designed to align our incentives and support long-term growth.

Our current blended fee schedule:

  • 1.25% on the first $500,000
  • 1.00% on the portion from $500,000 to $2 million
  • 0.80% on the portion from $2 million to $5 million
  • 0.50% on the portion from $5 million to $10 million
  • 0.25% on assets over $10 million

Note: Fees are calculated on a blended basis, not flat. For example, a client with $3 million under management would pay a blended rate across the tiers. Fees are billed quarterly based on the value of assets under management.

In addition to the annual management fee, PPS Custom Program clients may pay transaction charges, administrative charges, and miscellaneous account fees and charges, as described in the Master Services Agreement (MSA) or PPS Client Agreement (as applicable) and Commonwealth’s ADV Part 2A Brochure.
